Description
Crafted from Knotty Western Red Cedar, this outdoor barrel sauna with porch (213cm x L 310cm) is designed for natural insulation, long-term durability, and a truly relaxing outdoor wellness experience. With 4cm thick solid cedar walls, this sauna retains heat efficiently without needing artificial insulation — making it both practical and energy-conscious.
The rounded barrel shape isn’t just for looks — it creates excellent air circulation, helping the sauna heat up much faster than standard rectangular models. That means less waiting and more relaxing.
Each unit comes as a complete package, fully specified and ready for use — no extra decisions, no upsells. The design features a charming front porch area for cooling off, rustic knotty cedar bevel roofing for a watertight finish, and a solid cedar door frame with a full-size bronze-tempered glass window that brings in natural light while maintaining privacy.
Marine-grade aluminium bands with stainless steel tightening hardware ensure structural stability and a long lifespan outdoors. Inside, the sauna comfortably seats 6 to 8 people, offering plenty of room to stretch out or enjoy with others.
Premium Wood
Western Red Cedar is very suitable for Saunas. It is in high demand for its durability, decay resistance and dimensional stability, and due to its porous cell structure.
Heater
The Helo Cup Heater is a compact, wall-mounted Finnish sauna heater with built-in controls. It holds 23 kg of stones to provide soft, even heat and fast, efficient warming. Perfect for pod saunas, it includes an integrated timer with a 9-hour preset and up to 3 hours of heating time. Easy to install and CE-marked for safety.
Maintenance Guidelines
Interior Care
- Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove dirt and debris.
- Clean benches and floors with warm, soapy water a few times per year.
- For stubborn stains, use fine-grit sandpaper or a low-pressure wash.
- Avoid ammonia or harsh cleaners, which can cause wood discolouration.
Exterior Care
The sauna’s exterior will naturally age due to sun and rain exposure, developing a silvery-grey patina over time. This weathering is purely cosmetic and does not damage the wood.
Base Requirements for Outdoor Sauna

We recommend building a base slightly larger than the sauna footprint to provide space for cooling off between sessions. Suitable base options include: Patio stones, Concrete pad, Wooden deck, Well-compacted crushed stone.
